The CAPiTA Mercury Wide 2027 is designed for riders looking for an exceptionally versatile snowboard that can handle all-mountain terrain, freeride conditions and freestyle-inspired riding. Combining directional shaping with responsive construction, it delivers a balanced riding experience across powder, groomers, kickers, side hits and park laps.
Renowned for its all-terrain versatility, the Mercury is built to provide power when you want it and float when you need it. Its directional design features a 0.5-inch setback, while the New Age Progressive Death Grip™ sidecut contributes to its distinctive edge-control design.
At the heart of its performance is the RESORT V2 Directional + Flat Kick Tech profile. This construction combines a raised camber platform through the binding inserts for high-speed edge hold across variable terrain, elevated contact points to improve landing and float in powder, and Flat Kick tip and tail arcs for faster, more aggressive transitions.
The Hover Core™ is an energetic, premium core designed to be ultralight and strong, with excellent dampening properties. Working alongside it, the HOLYSHEET™ Tri/Bi Fiberglass + MAGIC BEAN™ Resin construction features high-tensile-strength fibre weaves with a low modulus of elasticity. Its higher roving count allows for a stronger and more responsive snowboard without adding extra weight.
For additional reinforcement, the AMPLITEX™ V-TECH Amplifier combines natural flax fibre woven with carbon strands. This construction brings together the reactive energy of carbon with the lightweight and dampening properties of flax, contributing to the board's responsive performance.
Underneath, the HYPERDRIVE™ Base is a custom-formulated sintered base developed exclusively for CAPiTA's MotherShip™ manufacturing facility. Created in collaboration with a leading polyethylene running-base supplier, it features high molecular mass and specialised processing aids to provide exceptional anti-friction properties and fast glide.
Completing its construction, the PLT Topsheet Technology™ bonds the topsheet to an already pressed snowboard, creating a featherlight, smooth and high-gloss finish without using solvents or toxic lacquers during finishing.
Versatile, responsive and engineered for all-terrain performance, the CAPiTA Mercury 2027 combines advanced materials, directional shaping and specialised snowboard technologies for riders who want to explore different terrain and conditions with one adaptable snowboard.
