The CAPiTA Mega Merc 2027 is designed for riders looking for premium all-mountain and freeride performance, combining versatility, power and advanced snowboard construction to handle a wide range of mountain conditions.
Inspired by the versatility of the Mercury series, the Mega Merc takes its proven technical design and enhances it with upgraded materials and construction. Built to deliver power when you need it and float when conditions call for it, this snowboard is designed to handle everything from groomed runs to deep powder.
At the heart of its performance is the Resort V2 Directional + Flat Kick Tech profile, which combines a raised camber platform through the binding inserts with elevated contact points and Flat Kick tip and tail arcs. This construction provides edge hold at high speeds across variable terrain, improved float and landing performance in powder, and faster, more aggressive transitions.
The 3D Thermopolymer Starship Core™ combines premium, reforestation-certified poplar wood with bonded post-consumer recycled thermopolymer channels. The core retains the poppy characteristics of poplar while creating an advanced hybrid construction.
For enhanced performance, the Hybrid Carbon HolySheet™ Tri/Tri Fiberglass + Megacarbon™ Magic Bean™ Resin construction incorporates carbon additives directly into the fiberglass. This technology improves precision during the manufacturing layup process while reducing weight.
The board also features a MEGADRIVE™ XT Base, a high-performance race base made from UHMW polyethylene modified with high carbon content and special fluoro additives. Designed for fast gliding across a wide range of conditions, its increased thickness also enhances durability.
Completing the construction is the Moonshot Omni-Tune™, an aftermarket high-performance race-base structure that channels water away from the base at a 45-degree angle to support efficient glide.
Ultra-lightweight, powerful and exceptionally versatile, the CAPiTA Mega Merc 2027 combines advanced materials, directional shaping and high-performance base technology for riders who want one snowboard capable of tackling all-mountain and freeride terrain.
