The CAPiTA Aeronaut Men's Snowboard Wide 2027 is designed for riders looking to push their all-mountain riding with speed, powerful turns and impressive airtime. Developed in collaboration with professional snowboarder Arthur Longo, this directional snowboard is built to charge resort terrain and make the most of side hits, combining traditional camber performance with advanced construction technologies.
At the heart of its design is the ALPINE V3 Directional Camber profile. Featuring a low-rise camber that transitions to zero camber before the end of the sidecut, this construction creates a more controlled riding experience while retaining the response and power associated with a cambered snowboard. It is designed to deliver performance across all-mountain terrain, particularly when riding at speed and approaching side hits.
The Directional shape with a 0.8-inch setback and Progressive sidecut contribute to its directional riding characteristics. With a directional flex of 6, the Aeronaut is developed for riders seeking a responsive snowboard for resort and all-mountain riding, with an emphasis on speed, control and airtime.
Its lightweight construction features the PANDA HOVER™ CORE, an ultra-lightweight core enhanced with Bamboo Power Rods™ for maximum power and response. This combination provides a strong and responsive foundation while keeping the snowboard lightweight.
For additional energy and reinforcement, the 4 x 25 mm CARBONFLAX™ AMPLIFIERS combine natural flax fibre woven with carbon strands. This construction brings together the reactive energy of carbon with the lightweight and dampening properties of flax. The compatible properties of both fibres create a uniformly flexing reinforcement designed to be lightweight, responsive and durable.
The HOLYSHEET™ TRI/BI + MAGIC BEAN™ RESIN construction features high-tensile-strength fibreglass weaves with a low modulus of elasticity. Its higher roving count allows for a stronger and more responsive snowboard without adding extra weight.
Underneath, the HYPERDRIVE™ ADV XT BASE is a custom-formulated sintered base developed exclusively for CAPiTA's MotherShip™ manufacturing facility. Created in collaboration with a leading polyethylene running-base supplier, it features high molecular mass and specialised processing aids for exceptional anti-friction properties and fast glide. The XT version also features increased thickness for enhanced durability.
Completing its construction, the PLT TOPSHEET TECHNOLOGY™ bonds the topsheet to an already pressed snowboard, creating a featherlight, smooth and high-gloss finish without using solvents or toxic lacquers during finishing.
Fast, responsive and engineered for all-mountain performance, the CAPiTA Aeronaut 2027 combines directional camber, a lightweight reinforced core and advanced base technology for riders looking to charge resort terrain, take advantage of side hits and enjoy powerful riding across the mountain.
