The CAPiTA Kazu Kokubo Pro Wide 2027 is designed for riders seeking a versatile all-mountain and freeride snowboard, combining lightweight construction, powerful response and exceptional manoeuvrability for changing mountain conditions.
Developed around the riding style of professional snowboarder Kazu Kokubo, this award-winning snowboard features a compact shape with a powder-oriented nose and a slightly tapered tail. Its directional design makes it quick and manoeuvrable, providing versatility for side-country powder riding and resort conditions. Whether exploring fresh snow or riding groomed terrain, the Kazu Kokubo Pro is built to deliver a responsive and adaptable experience.
At the heart of its performance is the RESORT V3 Directional profile, which combines a raised camber platform through the binding inserts with elevated contact points and traditional tip and tail arcs. This construction maintains edge hold at high speeds across variable terrain, while the elevated contact points help with landing and floating in powder. The traditional tip and tail arcs also provide smoother transitions.
The Panda Hover Core™ is an ultra-lightweight core enhanced with Bamboo Power Rods™ for increased power and response. This construction is complemented by HOLYSHEET™ Tri/Bi Fiberglass with MAGIC BEAN™ Resin, featuring high-tensile-strength fibre weaves that create a stronger and more responsive board without adding extra weight.
For additional power and responsiveness, the CarbonFlax™ Amplifiers combine natural flax fibres with carbon strands. This construction brings together the reactive energy of carbon with the lightweight and dampening properties of flax, creating reinforcement designed to be light, responsive and durable.
The HyperDrive™ ADV XT Base is a custom-formulated sintered base developed exclusively for CAPiTA's MotherShip™ facility. Its high molecular mass and specialised processing aids provide exceptional anti-friction properties for fast glide, while its increased thickness is designed to enhance durability. Completing the base construction, the Moonshot Omni-Tune™ features a high-performance structure that channels water away from the base at a 45-degree angle.
Lightweight, powerful and quick to manoeuvre, the CAPiTA Kazu Kokubo Pro 2027 combines directional shaping, advanced core technology and high-performance base construction for riders looking for a versatile snowboard suited to all-mountain and freeride adventures.
