Rome Snowboard Gang Plank

The Gang Plank is designed for riders who wanted a buttery smooth mellow flexing board to turn the whole mountain into a park. Built with our Contract Rocker camber profile, Flax Impact Plates and the easy pressing Bamboo Omega HotRods, the Gang Plank is built to tweak, bonk and press its way through whatever the day brings.

Flat between the bindings and a rocker in the nose and tail. The Gang Plank offers a playful yet powerful ride, anywhere and in any conditions. To balance this freestyle-oriented feel somewhat, the Gang Plank comes with bamboo HotRods in the core, for more stability and pop for carves and ollies. This year the Gang Plank comes with shock absorbing Flax Impact Plates to give you even more durability. 

Riding style
An all-mountain/park board for every rider. This board comes with all the features you need as an ambitious park rider. The flat profile makes the board playful, forgiving and yet stable enough for bigger jumps and higher speeds. No matter if in the park or throughout the resort.

The True Twin shape is perfectly symmetrical for a balanced ride that's equally versatile when ridden forward or switch.

Profile
The Contact Rocker profile comes with a flat section between the bindings and a rocker in the nose and tail. This makes the board turn effortlessly, but it still remains smooth at higher speeds.

Flex
The medium-stiff flex ensures precise control and fast board response.

Construction
The Pop Core includes two zones of lightweight woods combined with poplar wood for a buttery smooth ride with high power flex. The Powerslide Base is easy to repair, with good wax absorption. A low-maintenance base for every rider level and still fast and reliable. HotRods are thin tubes made of carbon, bamboo or fibreglass and are embedded in milled channels in the wooden core of the board. The flex and pop can thus be precisely placed and changed. In the case of the Gang Plank, bamboo HotRods were used. This makes presses a breeze and they provide extra stability. Flax Impact Plates at critical points absorb shocks and thus ensure durability.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
